Pain Free Massage Therapy

Philosophy

I’m a Massage Therapist that believes after your massage you should feel refreshed and relaxed. You should feel limber and more ready to move – or ready to sleep if that’s your goal.

If you hurt after a massage, you’re less likely to be moving and engaging your muscles.

The phrase I’ve been enjoying lately is “Motion is Lotion.” If you’re healthy enough to move safely, you should!

I think a massage helps as a part of a larger wellness plan. In the New Year I’ve removed most sugars from my food intake and started exercising again. I’ll revisit in a few months, see how I feel and what else my wellness journey should have.

Pain-Free Therapy *(with an asterisk)

You never have to worry about enduring a painful treatment. I don’t like hurting people. I will never tell you that you must experience something if you find it unpleasant.

When I say provide pain-free massage therapy, this is what I mean:

If I think you’ll benefit from a painful technique, I’ll mention the technique and what to expect.

Pain is my last resort. If I think we can accomplish a goal with less pain, we do that.

Massage that is more therapeutic and deep tissue should still be relaxing. If you feel like you have to be tense while getting treatment, I’m doing it wrong.
